“Everything was great! I liked it all.”

Denise, eleven years old, summarized her visit to the Bible Centre like this: “Everything was great! I liked it all.” Denise was the 45 000 visitor to the Bible Centre since the opening in 2005

She came to the Bible Centre together with her class. It was a class of 27 students from the first grade Middle School in the 22nd district of Vienna. They had come to learn more about the Bible and its history.

The teachers, Mag. Friedrich Eckhardt (Lutheran) and Mag. David Novakovits (Catholic) were both excited as well. It was the first time for David Novakovits to visit the Bible Centre with a school group. “I really want to thank you. It was very interesting and very well done.“ For Fritz Eckhardt a visit to the Bible Centre has become a tradition. “The institution is well known to me and has great offers. In religious education, we teach about the Bible, but we do not have the possibility to show as many things to the students.”

The students asked Stefan Haider, a theology student, who conducted the tour at the Bible Centre that morning, many questions. One student wanted to know: „Is it possible that I can find an old scroll in my front yard?” Another student asked if the bullets were still in the Bible shot during the Second World War

Since the opening in spring, 2005 about 100 school groups per year come to the Bible Centre. Additionally different groups from Churches come to visit.
